This is the PRIC welcome page, where every user begins:

Put in the user name and the password, and then login “my space”.  After that, select the “Publish” button:

2 Publish Metadata

(1) Create new metadata

Select the model you need if necessary.  After that, put in the entry ID, and click on the “Next” button:

Entry ID is the unique identifier of the metadata. It is a required field and may be used only once.  ID is determined by the author of metadata. 1 to 80 alphanumeric characters are permitted, including underbar (_), hyphen (-) and period (.). For example, “1989-1990_06-06_S_OC_OC02_LO_O011301_000_R0_Y” is right one.

Entry ID also can generate automatically:

(2) Fill in 36 fields of the metadata

That is the “Edit” page of the metadata.  represents required field;  represents recommendatory field;  represents optional field; √ indicates accomplishment. If you accomplish a field of the metadata, click on the “Next” button and go on.

For example, that is the steps of filling in the “Parameters” field of the metadata:

If the parameter you need doesn’t exist, you can “Add” it:

 in Figure 2.2.2 is used to add parameter. The “Clear” button is use to delete the information you submitted.

(3) Submit the metadata

Click on the “Submit” button:

3 Upload the Data Set

Click on the “Operation” button.

Then, upload the data set.

l  How to Search Metadata and Download Data Set?

1 Search and download basic data set

Enter the “Search” page, and put in the keyword.

For example, put in the keyword “XCTD”.

Then, you can get the information of the metadata and download its data set.
