CN-NADC has produced enormous quantities of high quality scientific data files obtained from Chinese polar research programs over the years under extremely harsh environment in Polar Regions. Web-based services allow CN-NADC to support the priority scientific research fields and in some cases to enhance the public awareness and education.
All users should respect the intellectual property of data production. The one who takes advantage of the data provided by the website should mark the source (including DOI quote) in a clear way and acknowledge the data provider and CN-NADC in the published paper or other achievements.

All the data submitted to CN-NADC will have an accompanying metadata record. A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) will be allocated automatically to the submitted dataset by CN-NADC.
The DOI is a persistent label that can be used to permanently identify your dataset. It makes your dataset citable and tracks the re-use of your dataset within data citation indexes easily.
To obtain a DOI for your dataset:
Please click “Request a DOI” when you ensure that you have already created a metadata record to describe your dataset and that your data have been submitted to CN-NADC for archiving.
If you do not have a metadata record linked to the submitted data, please contact the CN-NADC officer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
